Our Mission

The BUECHEL PATIENT CARE RESEARCH AND EDUCATION FUND (The Fund) was founded in 2002 by Frederick F. Buechel, Sr. MD FACS as a means of furthering ongoing research and teaching efforts in the fields of orthopaedic surgery and  biomedical engineering .  In addition, The Fund was established to serve as a source of assistance for patients and students with special needs to improve their quality of life.  Donations from philanthropic individuals or organizations are greatly appreciated.  Disbursements for needy individuals, worthwhile research and meaningful education will be the primary future focus of The Fund.
